Bishop Alejandro Goic:
We are writing to you to be a pastor who has the admiration of a majority of Chileans. His moral stature, wisdom to express their convictions overturned our cry for you to represent us raise public awareness to the situation that has now called the Ministry of Education to "think in public education." We feel it would be better to think of education in Chile as their plans and programs and their objectives is for all Chileans, and all are measured by the same staff. Rod which in turn creates various exclusions and therefore highly questionable. Without fear of exaggeration one might say that educational establishments and industries are preparing individuals to obtain conclusive results to enter college. This result has led to a torrent of commodification of education. Your
vocational concern for "the poor can not wait" we can assume that would be equivalent concern about the so-called public education, whose existence is so vulnerable and had to be shaken by their own "penguin" numb by the social indifference to them unbearable.
Bishop, when you made your call to Chile, Chileans for a salary ethical earthquake caused a high degree of public opinion especially in the business, in government, the political class. His call had such an impact on their moral authority and, because it put the finger on appeal to the ethical conscience. That is, the most essential attribute of human beings.
